Wednesday morning five Swiss teams play mainly on center court at Gstaad - four of them start successfully. The Swiss Olympic team Kuhn/Zumkehr starts slowly into the tournament. They had to play a tiebreak to win against the other Swiss team Forrer/Vérgé-Dépré. In the same group Grässli/Goricanec win against the Germans Blanck/Walkenhorst, who yesterday played the qualification round successfully. In the men's tournament three Swiss teams fight for a place in the main draw today. First results: Sutter/Sutter win against the Austrians Hupfer/Leeb and Beyeler/Bissig defeat Ben and Sam O'Dea from New Zealand. |

The defence player Jennings is looking forward to play in the main tournament starting tomorrow: "We were a little bit nervous in the first set, since we have never played against this team. But for the second set, we had a perfect gameplan and could make it. Now we will take one match at a time and try to win every single game." |
